Caleb came home with a runny nose yesterday . . . I am recovering from a cold, so I guess it was only a matter of time.
Poor little guy looks so pathetic with his watery eyes and runny nose, but he seems to be playing fine and eating normally (he is snoring a little!).
Today I read online that it helps to rub Vick's Vapor Rub on a baby's feet before putting on footie pajamas and to put a little salt in the water of your cool mist humidifier.
Does anyone else have any suggestions of things I should be trying? :)

I don't know of any other suggestions, but I am a firm believer in the Vicks Vapor Rub on the feet and then put on socks. I still do it when I get sick :)
ReplyDeleteHope he starts feeling better. And you too.
Erin,
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you and Caleb have colds! I've tried the Vick's thing, too. When our kids have stuffy noses, I do baths a little more often. Also, I put Natalie in the bathroom while I'm showering so the steam can help clear her nose. Otherwise, Tylenol if needed and lots of rest/TLC!
you should have told me you needed your humidifier back!! ahhh! so sorry! my cousin who is a pediatrician said to do a saline rinse in their nose and use the suction.
